Soundbath Meditation

Join us for a soul-soothing evening of meditation through sound.

Unwind from a busy week with a night of relaxation. Practice will begin with gentle yoga to prepare the body for meditation. After being guided into a meditative state (laying down in savasana), you will then be left to swim in the sound of the crystal singing bowls.

Since our migration to ZenPlanner, we've had a few common questions from members. If you have a concerns, please don't hesitate to ask at the studio or via email . If you experience problems, please take a screen shot of the issue or message so we are best able to troubleshoot the problem.

"I can't find the initial email with my user name and password." No problem! Contact us and we can send you a password reset email with the information to reset your account.

"I want to register for an aerial class, but it won't let me in the zenplanner ap." If you have not yet purchased an aerial yoga package, you can only reserve via the website. If problems persist, you can always contact us to reserve a class for you

"I'm having troubles reserving classes via the website." We've found some browsers work better than others to reserve and view our schedule (Chrome is recommended by our techie friends at zenplanner). You may also need to double check your security preferences.

"I can't remember how many classes I have left from my old package." Just let us know! We can look it up for you.

"When I purchase a membership, is it valid for the calendar month, or a 30- day period?" Our memberships are based on a 30 day period, so if you sign up for your membership on the 10th or month, you have until the 10th of the following month to use your sessions.

"Can I still pay in cash or check?" Of course! You can add credit card to your account, or we're happy to accept cash or check.

Still hesitant to to try aerial yoga? Here are some benefits of yoga with a silk:

1. Total Body Workout . Due to the nature of aerial yoga movements, almost all the body parts are forced to move and stretch in ways you may not experience without the assistance of the silk. During the workout, your muscles are toning and redefining, regenerating and strengthening the joints. Decompression of the spine is one of its main features.

2. Inner body reactivation. The sweat that you produce during aerial yoga has a lot of benefits to regulatory functioning. The circulatory, respiratory, and digestive systems are reactivated through blood circulation, boosting your mental abilities, regenerating and relaxing your mind, and nourishing your skin. It also believed to strengthen the neural connections related to memory and intelligence.

3. Psychologically beneficial. Similar to most workouts, aerial yoga helps rebuild your emotional system, as it relieves stress and clears your mind. An elevated savasana in a silk helps to put you in a meditative state.

4. Develop new skills. Aerial yoga will assist in your mat workout, and vice versa. It improves balance and flexibility, strengthening your core, increasing spinal, and shoulder flexibility.

5. Spiritually uplifting. The spiritual benefits of aerial yoga are undeniable. It increases creativity and leads to more joy and optimism.

Other Aerial Yoga Tips include:

Wear comfortable clothing that will allow range of movement, such as yoga pants and top.
Avoid extremely loose clothing to prevent the extra fabric getting in the way.
Remove all jewelry (necklace, bracelets, rings, and, earrings) before class.
Observe good personal hygiene and wear deodorant in consideration for the next person using the hammock. Avoid using lotion immediately prior to class.

Aerial Classes. You have three opportunities a week to take an Aerial Yoga class:

Power Aerial Yoga on Mondays at 9:00 am

Power Aerial Yoga on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm

Mixed Level Aerial Yoga on Tuesdays at 5 pm

There will be additional pop up classes throughout the month, listed on our website . We'll announce pop up classes on Facebook and via email. Register online or through the zenplanner ap; space is limited to 8 students per class.
