In honor of Jewish Disabilities Awareness Month (JDAM), join us for a screening of two short films, Keep the Change (16 minutes) and Special Interview (55 minutes) followed by a discussion facilitated by Sandly Miller-Jacobs, Ed.D. 

Both movies with open captions. Pre-screening reception hosted by the CJP Committee on Services for People with Disabilities and the Special Needs Professionals Committee. No cost.

The touching portrayal of a teenage boy dealing with dyslexia. This moving one-man play reveals what it's like to feel like an outsider, to be differently-abled, yet at the same time whole.

 

Never Ever Ever is the winner of four Assitej Awards in 2013 and is based on a book by Tzipi Gon Gross.

JDAM Reads!

Established in 2012, JDAM Reads! selects books that encourage readers to learn more about the lives of people with disabilities and their families. JDAM Reads! selections are written by Jewish authors who have personal experiences living with disability and have compelling stories to tell.
