Dear Friends,

February is heart health month.  Be sure to follow these tips to stay healthy!

It may be a cold winter but our members enjoyed good conversation and Nancy Contessa's hospitality at our recent cooking demonstration Easy Comfort Foods.

If you weren't able to join us, click here for Nancy's recipes:

Our Program Committee is busy planning future events and activities.  We know that connecting with others socially is good for one's health.  See the sidebar for details on upcoming programs.   Members are always welcome to bring a friend.

The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville is showing classic Western movies on Saturdays ("Saddle Up Saturdays") and Oscar nominated movies during the week.  If you would be interested in attending movies at the film center please let us know.  If there is sufficient interest our Program Committee will arrange it!

Community Partner Spotlight

Gramatan Village members have access to our network of Community Partners, trusted local service providers.  Our staff determines whether a requested service can be handled by a volunteer of whether it requires the expertise of a professional service provider.

This month we shine the spotlight on
Priscilla Toomey

For the past twelve years, Priscilla Toomey has focused on Bronxville area real estate, whether it be sales or purchases of single family homes, coops, condos or rentals. A lawyer by background, Priscilla started practicing law in trusts and estates and went on to become General Counsel of Prudential Relocation Management. Her real estate philosophy is "client for life " to help with whatever the client needs no matter how long ago the purchase or sale took place. Priscilla also teaches the real estate class at the Bronxville Adult School where she is on the Board of Trustees, and she loves teaching and helping her students feel as much in control of their upcoming real estate activities as possible.

Priscilla is offering one on one consults with Gramatan Village Members at no charge, so if you have anything real estate-wise you would like to discuss, please let us know and we'll set up a meeting for you.
