"Facts & Phases of the Moon "
with Traci Bennett-Hobek
Wednesday, February 21 @ 4:00
What do you see when you look at the moon? Do you see a man, a face, half of a paper plate? How far away is the moon? According to Big Nutbrown Hare (from the book, Guess How Much I Love You), "very far." February is rare this year in that we will not see a full moon this month. Instead, March will have two full moons. We have heard the saying, "once in a Blue Moon" which happens every 3 ½ years. However, a "No-moon" month only happens every 19 years! Come learn facts and phases of the moon!
For school-aged children & parents.
