Who: FCA in partnership with White Fields Foundation
What: Instructional Football Camp (Non-Contact) for young men ages 10-18. Great fundamentals and advanced technique from men who have played at a high level and know how to coach it. Hear from men with a strong faith whose hearts have been made new and their lives have been changed in every area.
When: June 22-23, 2012 (Friday & Saturday) from 9am to 3pm. Registration is from 8:30 am to 9:00 am.
Where: Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, 4720 5th Ave., Pgh, 15213 ( Oakland).
Cost: The registration fee is $125 for 2 days of instruction (4 full practices), lunch and some great inspirational messages from our staff. Lunch is provided on both days by Chick-Fil-A. A FCA Bible and a camp T-shirt will be given to all campers as well.
The Staff: Team Leader, Jon Kolb, 4X Super Bowl Champ, asst. coach Pittsburgh Steelers, Field General: Mike Conway, Asst. Head Coach, Defensive Coordinator California Univ. (25 years of coaching experience, #5 Ranked Defense in the nation, D-II, 2011), Leo Wisniewski, NFL- Indy Colts, 20 years coaching experience, Chris Seleuga-Head Coach Chartiers Valley HS. Geno DeMarco is in his 20th year as head coach at Geneva College. He is the consummate coach; always teaching, always pushing, always looking to get better. His passion to compete and his love for Christ always shines through no matter the outcome in a given game or season though he usually comes out on top. FCA Regional Director Denny Hyland will be our camp administrator.
The Players: Aaron Smith from the Pittsburgh Steelers, who recently retired after a fantastic 13 year career anchoring the defensive end position. During that span, he won a Super Bowl, made the Pro Bowl, and was named to Sports Illustrated's All-Decade Team (2000-2009) for his consistently dominating level of play. Stefen Wisniewski, OG/C for the Oakland Raiders, played in every offensive snap as a rookie in 2011, named to the NFL All-Rookie Team, Pepsi Rookie of the Week vs. Jets. 1st Team All-American PSU. Andrew Taglianetti, Senior at the Univ. of Pittsburgh, frequent starter over the past 2 seasons in the secondary, special teams tackle leader.
