September 2015

Kids and teachers are back to school, after a most unusual summer in Kentucky. We were extremely wet, and cooler than normal. Berea exploded with flowers and vegetables, thanks to the efforts of Sustainable Berea in providing materials, skills, and resources for the Victory Garden raised bed blitz. We welcomed several groups to the Artists Village, and enjoyed sharing skills through the Festival of Learnshops.

First  Friday  street fairs bring out so many to enjoy a wide variety of music and dance.  All that kept us incredibly busy as we adjusted to our new location on North Broadway. Many thanks to you who have visited us in the little green yarn cottage - and if you haven't been here yet, please stop in and say hello!

There is just a hint of coolness to the air these mornings, stirring up the urge to get out the yarn and create something soft and warm. Is this the time to add a new skill, try a new technique, start a gift for someone special? We can help! If you don't see below the class you want, let us know and we'll make it happen, just for you.
