We are officially less than one month away from our Third Annual Fight To End Cancer Gala that will be taking place on Saturday, May 31st 2014 at the Old Mill!

 

This month will be both very exciting as well as busy for our Fight Team - we want to ensure that you know about the important dates that are coming down the pipeline.

Fight To End Cancer Community Day

 Saturday, May 10th 2014

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
(Presentation at 12pm)

Location: Kingsway Boxing MAP

 

This event is open to
EVERYONE, so please invite friends, family, colleagues etc.  
 
This will be a great way for people in the local community to learn more about the Fight To End Cancer, meet our 2014 Fight Team and have family-friendly fun on a Saturday afternoon. 

There will be a DJ spinning some tunes, complementary drinks and light fare.

 

  
Breakfast Television

 

Wednesday, May 14th 2014

Time: 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. 

Location: Kingsway Boxing MAP

 

 

Rise and shine! 

Breakfast Television will be taking over the Kingsway Boxing Club  for Fight To End Cancer Promotions. This is going to be a great media opportunity for our Fight Team as they will be featured in five live segments on Breakfast Television. We would love to invite anyone who feels like an early morning work-out to come to the gym on Jutland Road and give the space some life in the background as interviews and segments air. 

 

Media Day and

Unofficial Weigh-In

Thursday, May 22nd 2014

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

(Presentation at 7pm)

Location: Grace O'Malley's MAP

 

  Our Official Media Day will be taking place at Grace O'Malley's on Duncan Street, downtown Toronto. Though this event is going to be invite only to media, sponsors and gala attendees in the VIP section; the remainder of the bar will be open for everyone to come out and celebrate with FTEC. The bar is going to be dedicating the entire night to us, so bring a friend or two and keep the party going until they kick you out.

Third Annual Fight To End Cancer Gala

To wrap up the month, is of course, our fabulous gala event! Though this event is only available to those who buy a ticket; there are still a handful left!
So, if you would like to get dressed up and come join us for a great event for a great cause, please let Jennifer, or David know and we will get you and your guests hooked up.

We are so thankful for all of the hard-work and support that you have put into helping make our third year of FTEC a success.  This year should certainly be our largest to date in terms of both gala attendance and donation dollars raised for PMCF. 

 

It is through all of our shared vision for this cause that we have grown FTEC as quickly as we have and it is this vision and passion that will ensure we continue to grow and make a major impact in the fight to end cancer!
