Short Form Script Writing Class with Diana Erwin
Register Now for Short Form Script-Writing Class DEADLINE: Wednesday at Noon!
The class runs four Saturdays and helps students learn the basics of short-form cinematic storytelling. The emphasis is on helping writers who would like to enter Access Sacramento's 17th Annual "Place Called Sacramento" script competition and Film Festival.

The class for the general public runs February 20 to March 19 from 10am to 1 pm at Access Sacramento, inside the Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street, Sacramento.
Diana Erwin is a professional writer who won a Pulitzer Prize in journalism, then turned to filmmaking as a more creative type of storytelling. She began at "A Place Called Sacramento" and her first short, Dad's Café, won Audience Favorite in the 2006 PCS film festival.
 She also co-directed "The Sac Effect" (2007) with Jeff McPhee, and directed the 2013 Audience Favorite film, "Resolution" for one of her screenwriting class students, Jessica Ramirez Benz. She taught screenwriting at the Art Institute and worked as a screenwriter in Los Angeles for two years. Today, she oversees filmmaking and all things PR and marketing for an international firm with offices in 15 countries whose branding is based on "telling our story in an engaging, evocative way to clients and the people we help."
The workshop costs a total of $50 and enrollment is limited.
