CELEBRATE THE SEASON

  Holiday Poinsettia Show

Open daily through Sunday, January 8, 2012

9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thousands of poinsettias bursting with rich, vibrant color fill the floral display hall in a glowing tribute to the holidays. In the center of it all, a magnificent and majestic 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree stands tall. Surrounded by a cascade of twinkling white lights, glittering ornaments and the whir and whistle of model garden trains, this show evokes the warmest greetings of goodwill and cheer.

This weekend, enjoy music from the Tangier Shrine Chanters, A Ring of Flutes and the Southeast Nebraska Community Band. Click here for a complete schedule.

Admission to the show is $6 (includes garden admission), garden members are free.

In the spirit of the season, admission has been generously underwritten on December 18.

Give to the gardens this holiday season

Beauty Matters. Nature Matters. We know you believe that. We have planted nearly 20,000 bulbs, watered, pruned and weeded our 100-acre campus. We have taught children and led tours. Many people have worked so very hard to produce and maintain this beautiful botanical garden for the enjoyment of the community and region.

We rely on donations to make up the difference between what it costs us to maintain the garden and the price we charge for visits and memberships. In this season of giving, we ask you to consider a generous donation to Lauritzen Gardens so that we can continue to prove that, indeed, beauty matters.

Donate online, or contact Kim Davis at k.davis@omahabotanicalgardens.org or 402-346-4002, ext. 224.
