Question: What will you miss most about performing in My Fair Lady?
"Henry Higgins has been my favorite character to play, ever, and I will simply miss getting the chance to be him six times a week. I will genuinely miss him."
-Tony Braithwaite (Henry Higgins)
"I'll miss very many things about performing in this show! I'll miss the challenge of finding new things every night. The beauty of such a long run has been the ample time to 'learn by doing' in front of a live audience. And of course I will miss sharing the stage with my mentor."
-Eileen Cella (Eliza Doolittle)
"I'm going to miss performing 'Get Me to the Church on Time,' talking with a cockney accent (which I might just keep doing anyway), and the wig I wear as a maid - I've really bonded with that thing!"
-Annabelle Garcia (Ensemble)
Question: Any memorable "only-in-front-of-a-live audience" moments? Any stories from favorite performances?
"Guess I have to remember my skirt coming off and stepping right out of it during 'With A Little Bit of Luck' reprise. That was a first and hopefully a last!"
-Mary Martello (Mrs. Higgins)
"Once, when I exited into the lobby before 'Accustomed to Her Face,' a woman was standing there having just come down from the bathroom. Before I could re-enter the theatre for my song, she grabbed my arm and said, 'Ya know it's going very well.'"
-Tony Braithwaite (Henry Higgins)
"I had no idea how funny 'Ascot Gavot' was until it was put in front of an audience. Every performance gets a bigger and bigger response to our grotesquely bored faces while we watch an imaginary horse race over the audiences' heads. Since this moment happens in complete silence, it is a real challenge to keep my composure amidst such audience comments as 'Look at that face! That is one UGLY face!' and 'Honey, YOU make that face.' There has also been really loud snorting which then causes the person to laugh even HARDER, making our job of keeping a straight face that much more challenging."
-Jordi Wallen (Mrs. Eynsford-Hill)

"Well, there was that one time I tripped going up the stairs to the second level of the set and made my entrance with a face plant..."
-Lindsay Maurck (Mrs. Pearce)
Question: What will you miss most about coming to Ambler five days a week?
"I have to give a shout-out to Julia's Deli and Cafe Maida! They have been my staples for those long breaks between Wednesday shows!"
-Eileen Cella (Eliza Doolittle)
"I've come to love Ambler! I'm going to miss KC's Alley, Cafe Maida, and Ambler Donuts."
-Annabelle Garcia (Ensemble)
"Saffron! I had never had Indian food before - now I have to find a great restaurant near me!"
-Lindsay Mauck (Mrs. Pearce)
