Finalists Selected for the 2012
NewSpace Business Plan Competition
The Winner of the $100,000 Grand Prize
will be Announced at the NewSpace Awards Gala

Silicon Valley, CA - After being subjected to rigorous scrutiny, ten impressive finalists have been selected to present their business plans to the judges of the NewSpace Business Plan Competition, hosted by the Space Frontier Foundation. The competition saw a giant leap in the number and quality of candidates this year due in part to the increased prize but also due to the commercial space industry reaching an exciting point in its development where motivated startups are launching frequently.

The finalists range from inventive propellants to software solutions to bioengineered materials but all fill a current need in the commercial space industry. Attendees of the NewSpace 2012 Conference can watch the final presentations on July 27th at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. The winner will be presented with the $100k prize provided by NASA during that NewSpace Awards Gala on July 28th. Meet the future leaders of the commercial space industry by registering now for the conference at NewSpace.SpaceFrontier.org.
