Rick Waechter is a Certified Financial Planner at Old Peak Financial and has more than 25 years experience providing tailored financial advice to individuals and families. He is active in his community, offering financial literacy seminars to area high school students, and financial planning advice to older adults.   
 
Mr. Waechter earned his BA from Princeton University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Allison Rice is a Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Health Justice Clinic at Duke Law School.
 
Ms. Rice is a speaker, trainer and legal advocate on issues affecting people living with HIV, cancer, and chronic diseases.  She supervises law students who provide legal representation to individuals living with cancer and other serious medical conditions in cases involving estate planning, disability, insurance, public benefits, discrimination and breach of confidentiality.

Woody Connette is a trial lawyer who 
works with the law firm, Essex Richards, PA, in Charlotte, NC. His practice has expanded to include all forms of health and long-term disability insurance coverage rights.
 
Mr. Connette's interest in health policy issues has led to his volunteer participation with the National Patient Advocate Foundation, the Mecklenburg Medical Society Bioethics Resource Group, the Davidson College Medical Humanities Advisory Board, and the UNC Charlotte Center for Community and Applied Ethics.
