History Made - Cavaliers: 2016 NBA Champions
Just in case you have not heard, for the first time in franchise history, our Cleveland Cavaliers rocked the NBA records by becoming the first team to ever come back from a 3-1 deficit. Lebron James and Kyrie Irving lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a title the city has awaited for the past 52 years!
Lebron James successfully delivered on his promise two years ago to bring a championship to his native northeast Ohio. Over 18,000 fans gathered near the Quicken Loans Arena in pure disbelief of the season's results, some crying, others hugging, but more importantly sharing a moment that many only dreamed of experiencing in their lifetime.

2016 KSUCPM Pre-Professional Internships
This summer, KSUCPM proudly welcomed a total of 16 interns on our campus throughout the course of three pre-professional internship sessions. We successfully recruited students from 9 different states, travelling as close as Cleveland, and as far as the Air Force base in Germany!
The students who attended the program got the opportunity to interact with our Dean as well as other faculty members, all the while speaking to current students, and shadowing various Doctors of Podiatric Medicine in the area.
Our office is very appreciative of all those who helped make these programs a success, from our very own students and faculty members, to the special advisors who spread the word about podiatry, and even to the newsletter recipients who educate others.
