IPTV is excited to announce their first Teacher Training Institute. IPTV is recruiting Master Teachers that will partner with IPTV in creating model lessons are cross curricular with STEM components. These model lessons will be presented in June at a hands-on training that will provide learning and networking opportunities for educators across the state.

UN Aid Workers Find Desperation at Refugee Camp in Syria

The Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria, established in 1957, has sheltered thousands of displaced Palestinians. Since July, the camp has been under siege and more than

Examine Global Surface Currents
Grade Range: 6-12

 

When most people think about the movement of ocean water, they think of waves or tides. Less visible are ocean surface currents that can move water as much as 100 kilometers (62 miles) per day and distribute everything they contain to distant oceans and seas. The Three Rivers

Students engage in a scientific mystery that they solve by exploring interactive panoramic images of Columbia, SC and picking up clues along the way. Along the waterways they study the history, geography, ecology, plants and wildlife of this region and also learn how rivers were instrumental in forming this historic city.
