Be a Tourist in Your Town
Tourists flock to Charleston from all over the country (and around the world!) for its historical buildings, unparalleled culinary scene, southern charm and miles of beaches. But when was the last time you took a day to explore the beauty of downtown Charleston and experience all that the Holy City has to offer? This month is a great time to be a tourist in your own town--the Charleston Farmer's Market reopens at Marion Square on April 8th and the
Festival of Houses and Gardens runs through the 22nd. Start your day as a "tourist" off with brunch at the Farmer's Market, followed by a morning history walk, and then grab lunch at one of Charleston's newest
hot spots. Round out the day with an afternoon tour of a historic Charleston home or garden.
