Registration is now open online for Summer Baseball for youth. The program for ages 6 &7 and 8 & 9 is co-ed baseball; whereas, the division for ages 10-12 is for boys. We have several opportunities for tennis and pickleball, read below.
Although ice skating has ended at the Dorothy Hamill Rink, the indoor turf is now available to be rented. You can host a birthday party or sports program of lacrosse, soccer, whiffle ball, flag football, t-ball, or more.
The
Greenwich Skatepark will not be open for this spring season. A new concrete park is under construction and should open in August.

We have some great concerts scheduled for July. The Wednesday night concerts at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park begin at 7:15 PM including:

Tennis and Pickleball
|
Pickleball lines are painted on Christiano Tennis Courts and Loughlin Avenue Tennis Courts. Pickleball players with a valid tennis pass may reserve those courts to play pickleball or tennis. Players can register to play on the
platform tennis courts at Loughlin Avenue Park. For all the options of summer pickleball play,

Kamp Kairphree
|
Registration continues for Kamp Kairphree. Session 2 begins July 10, Session 3 begins July 24 and Session 4 begins August 7.
Kamp Kairphree is a co-ed program for children ages 5-12. It operates weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM out of the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center. There are four sessions of two weeks each.

Summer Soccer
|
Super Soccer Stars will be running our youth soccer programs in the summer. Session 1 will be from Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28 and Session 2 will be Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4. Ages 4-5 will meet from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and ages 6-12 will meet from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The programs will be held at Loughlin Avenue Field.

Griffith E. Harris Golf Course
Town Junior Championship Tournament
|
The Town of Greenwich Junior Championship Tournament
is being held on July 19 this year at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course.
The tournament is open to Greenwich residents between the ages of 10-17. Boys have three flights: Ages 10-13 for 9 holes gold tees; Ages 10-13 for 9 or 18 holes white tees: Ages 14-17 for 18 holes blue tees.
Girls have two flights: Ages 10-13 for 9 holes gold tees; Ages 14-17 for 18 holes green tees. Greenwich Independent Insurance pays for all the green fees. Applications are available at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Pro Shop or on the course
website.
Birdies, the restaurant at The Griff, is now open with full service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call (203) 717-0678 or check out their

For those who take the ferry and use the Arch Street parking lot, we have important information to share and a map to show the designated parking areas at the lot. Please see the Ferry Users Guide to Arch Street Parking. Binney Park will be under going a pond maintenance dredging and bank restoration project this summer. As a reminder, when registering for programs or reserving facilities for the first time in 2017, each Greenwich household will need to provide proper proof of residency for the new year. Fireworks July 1 |
The Annual Town of Greenwich Independence Day Fireworks Displays will be held on Saturday, July 1 at Greenwich Point and Binney Parks. In order that both shows operate smoothly and safely, we ask that you read and follow the guidelines at
Greenwich Point Park
and
Binney Park.
In case of rain, both shows will be held Sunday, July 2.

Recreation Credit and Refund Policy |
Credit requests for recreation program registration will be considered if received in writing prior to the start of the program. There is a $15.00 administrative fee for credits.
The general policy of the Recreation Division is that we do not process refunds unless a program has been cancelled. Please read all registration information carefully and contact us prior to registering for a program if you have any questions.
