Article of the Week:
Teens and Porn

By Walt Mueller

With the recent death of Hugh Hefner, it is a timely reminder of the negative impact he had on our understanding of sexuality. He is considered the father of pornography. He led the way to the development of the present, more grievous pornography movement. First, don't believe the ole lie that pornography is only a male issue. The viewing percentage for females is drastically increasing. Second, today, the pornography industry aggressively seeks after you. If you'd like more information please contact me.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

We are starting a new Sunday School series this Sunday, October 8th. The title above may seem strange to you.  It may be strange because I think our natural inclination is to foster only happy and easy relationships. Once messiness arises, we go in a different direction seeking easy, new relationships. We believe the lie that avoiding conflict is the best option. But God commands us to respond differently to conflict. Conflict is good! Conflict is unavoidable in a healthy, Biblical relationship. It is good because by handling conflict in a gospel manner, conflict makes us more like Christ. To become more like Christ is a our mission therefore remaining steadfast in our relationships is good.
