 Junior Naturalist Club


  Encourage outdoor exploration with hands-on nature activities.  Discover a new topic each week and be ready to explore outdoors. Dress for the weather! Participating Heritage Park Summer Campers will be supervised for 30 minutes after camp until the program begins.

  The whole family can explore GPS technology during this high-tech and exciting treasure hunting game. GPS units provided.

Forest Bathing Workshop

 Enjoy a unique Forest Therapy session with certified guide, Cayla Samano of A2Shinrinyoku.com. Rooted in the 'Forest Bathing' practice of Japan, Guided Forest Therapy is a relaxing sensory immersion in nature.  The walk culminates in a tea ceremony with locally made, safe, and responsibly harvested Michigan herbs.

Hosted by the Farmington Area Optimists Club. Kids (with their adults) will practice proper fishing techniques, receive their own rod & reel, tackle box and snacks.

Parents can enjoy a night out, while the kids have fun exploring nature! Animal encounters, a night hike, art projects and more make this an unforgettable evening for your child!

Nature's Way Summer Camp! 
 
 
Explore the outdoors with hands-on activities, games and crafts focused on the natural world. 


Each week has an exciting new theme which allows campers to discover nature by hiking, practicing outdoor skills and having fun outside!  Campers will go on a nature field trip OR have a nature expert visit the camp each week.  From gardening to fishing, archery and animals, there's always something fun to explore! Camps fill quickly!

Come enjoy the night sky with the Farmington Community Stargazers, and view celestial objects like planets and constellations through telescopes.
