It took awhile for summer to get here but now that it's here, we have some great weather and some great fishing! The big news as of right now and over the next 2-6 weeks are the sockeye and the pink salmon. Sockeye are open in the saltwater, 2 per day and fishing has been good and will continue to get even better as we approach late August and September...

River Fishing Report
The Fraser is still absolutely massive so bar fishing has been a bit of dream this year and most anglers have been concentrating on sturgeon or bottom bouncing. Bottom bouncing has been producing springs and sockeye are open August 13, 14, 15, 2 per day and might open the following weekend on the 20, 21, 22...

Saltwater Fishing Report
We have been doing well off W. Van for a mix of fish on the flood tide. Coho, pinks and chinook are getting hooked on a regular basis from 40 feet down to 85 feet on the riggers using anchovies, spoons, and hootchies. Lake Fishing Report
Some of the higher elevation lakes are fishing quite well due to the colder spring we had and good water levels. It seems like we barely are getting going on the summer scene, but the truth is the fall lake season is not too far away!
