Prizes!
Connecticut Community Foundation and our generous Give Local sponsors have created 60 cash prizes totaling over $50,000! All participating nonprofits can compete for these prizes throughout the 36-hour campaign. Also, we will host a Facebook Contest on April 11 and will be awarding cash prizes to the top three nonprofits.

  • Prizes for STEM and Domestic Violence - You will see several prizes available to nonprofits that have STEM or domestic violence programs. If your organization supports either of these areas and would like to compete for these prizes, please reply to this email with a brief description of your program by April 16.

  • Prize eligibility - Organizations are eligible to win multiple competitive prizes. However, an organization can win only one of the following: golden ticket, double down, grand prize.

  • What is a unique donor - For the purpose of our prizes, a "unique" donor is one individual, corporation or business. If the same donor makes multiple gifts to the same organization, only their FIRST gift counts for unique donor prizes.

  • Prize strategy - Read the entire prize list and choose one or two that you hope to attain. Develop an outreach strategy that coincides with these prizes. When communicating about prizes, please use the prize sponsor name whenever possible.

  • Additions to prize list - We anticipate adding additional prizes to our list. As future prizes are confirmed, a separate email will be sent to applicable organizations.
