Meet at Luis Lopez Automotive: 2751 Fletcher Drive, 90039
Join your neighbors and the AVNC Community Greening Committee to help cleanup Fletcher Drive. We'll be weeding and picking up trash. All are welcome. Tools and materials will be provided, but bring gloves and weeding tools if you have them. Also make sure to bring sunscreen and water.

The AVNC Community Greening Committee will be holding monthly volunteer activities to clean and green the neighborhood.

A letter from our Co-Chair

Atwater Village has made headlines a lot this week! I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a few of the stories written regarding recent events in the neighborhood.
We had a very interesting debate at our last Board of Governors Meeting. On our agenda was a motion to approve a letter supporting the Conditional Use Permit for New Hope Church located in the lot behind Costco. Many residents stated a concern for the lack of time given to weigh in on the scale of the project. Click here to see an article written by The Eastsider regarding the subject.
