Will
you
volunteer to help with the School Library Census?
We need volunteers to make calls and complete a survey instrument about the staffing and status of school library services. Perhaps you grew up in one county but live or work in another. We need volunteers to capture information for nearly 1,900 schools across the state.
THANK YOU to the volunteers (represented by the "V" on the map at right) who volunteered to complete the survey for the schools in their district or county.
This
School Library Census/Survey
project is critical to our advocacy for school libraries, as well as outreach to new librarians and other school library personnel.
We estimate that a volunteer who has a relationship within a school district will be able to complete one district in between 20 minutes to 2 hours.
