Follow the March for Farmworker Justice!
Marchers have covered over 30 miles so far, through the Senate districts of Flanagan, Boyle, Venditto, Kaminsky, and Hannon, to raise awareness about the Farmworker Fair Labor Practices Act. Along the way we have been met by fellow supporters.

If you would like to track the March, there are a few simple ways:
    1. Register, even if you can not march, to receive daily report and photos.  tinyurl.com/farmworkermarch
    2. Follow us on twitter (@RMM_NY hashtag #march4farmworkers) or on facebook

Western NY Actions

In conjunction and solidarity with the first of  The 200 mile March in eastern New York, RMM organized a rally in Buffalo at Pilgrim St. Luke's Church.  Approximately 50 people attended and heard a number of speakers talk about the importance of passing the Farmworkers Fair Labor Practices Act.

West Costgrove, Western NY Coordinator, says: "Everyone spoke passionately about the injustice of the current situation that excludes farmworkers from having the basic protections that all other groups of workers enjoy. Assemblyman Ryan told us that the industry has come to expect 'almost free labor' and therefore the resistance to ending the exclusions against farmworkers. A couple of farmworkers spoke from their personal perspective of the contributions and difficulties of being a farmworker."
