2016 - 2018 New License Agreements Process
The Food Building License Agreements Term will be based on a 3-year term agreement beginning 2016 through to 2018 inclusive.
All Food Building Concessionaires wishing to renew,
If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a NEW location, please follow the
Proposal Submission Criteria
and be sure to indicate this on the Expression of Interest form.
All new construction, repairs, modifications and/or renovations of concession booths or other structures affixed permanently must adhere to the 2016
Tenant Design & Construction Criteria Manual, which will be available end of November 2015. Stay tuned.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM IS
FRIDAY OCTOBER 16, 2015
Note: An expression of interest form must be received by all concessionaires in order to be invited in for a review assessment.
Once all interest forms are received in good order, one-on-one meetings will be scheduled to review the following details, including but not limited to;
1. 2016-2018 CNEA Lease Term and Fees
2. Leasehold Improvements & Expectations
3. 2015 Closing Inspection Deficiencies
4. Condition of Equipment(s)
5. Electrical Load Capacity Results
6. ESA, TSSA, Toronto Fire Safety Compliance
7. Sprinkler and Fire Suppression Systems
8. Menu and Food Lists
9. Food Testing Results
10. Adherence to CNEA Rules and Regulations
11. Review of Food Building Maintenance Program proposed by Exhibition Place/CNEA
All Concessionaires will be subject to review on an annual basis. Following the comprehensive review and assessment process, the CNE reserves the right to determine which Licensee it wishes to invite back to participate.
Once all criteria have been reviewed, considered and approved for participation, you will receive an email from your Sales Account Manager with an Acceptance Status Package which includes: your official Concessions License Agreement which will include the approved list of menu items allowed for sale including exclusions (
food items that were not approved), a floor plan with your location, all related terms and regulations, along with a fees payment schedule.
Information will be provided as to what is required back for signature during that process.
