Denver, August 17, 2015 - Think 360 Arts for Learning and Colorado Creative Industries, a division of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, announce the opening of the second cycle of Colorado Arts Partnership (CAP) Grants.
CAP Grants are designed to support public schools and local artists.
Colorado public and public charter schools serving PK-12 students have the exclusive opportunity to apply for funding that supplements and supports arts instruction for students during the school day. CAP Grants will support innovative projects that demonstrate strong collaboration among community arts partners and teachers in order to provide arts instruction to students. Schools may apply for funding for a wide variety of projects including, but not limited to: arts days, installation projects, performing arts productions, and artist residencies. Schools must commit matching funds of at least 30% of grant funding received. Schools may apply for up to $3,000 in CAP Grant support.
The application window will close Friday, October 2, 2015 at 5:00 pm, and notifications will be announced by October 26, 2015.
