Hello from Mahlah!

Don't panic, Summer is not over yet! Take time this month to enjoy the remaining warm Summer days. Throw a few more parties, hit the beach, and plan a weekend camping trip. Back-to-school tends to mark the end of Summer and beginning of Fall, but it doesn't have to. Continue to enjoy!

Camping Simplified

With the end of summer getting close it's a great time to get in some last minute camping. To some packing for a "quick" camping trip may seem like a huge ordeal.  So many things to remember to pack and run around the house collecting. Here are some tips for getting organized for easy future camping trips.

  • Use large plastic bins that can be stored in your shed or garage to store smaller camping supplies.
  • Keep all large items like camping chairs and tents together with the large bins.
  • Create a camping supply check list and purchase these items rather than collecting them from the house. The idea is that EVERYTHING in the bins should be able to remain in the bins for camping specifically.
  • Have pans, silverware, even kitchen towels designated for camping.
  • At the end of each camping trip make a list of all the items that need to be replenished before the next trip. An example would be things like paper towels, first aid supplies, and propane canisters.

Healthy Home Tip

This month I invite you to take a moment to simply enjoy your home. Relax and feel good in your space.
If you have a nice outdoor space, I encourage you to kick back this evening, snuggled in a blanket, with a glass of wine and watch the stars, trees, or sky.
This can be wonderful alone or with someone you love.
