Hello from Mahlah!

Happy Thanksgiving! I have so much to be grateful for this year. Thank you everyone who has supported me in growing my business and to all who have used my services. I would need a very long newsletter to list each of you, but you know who you are and I'm forever thankful for you. Have a beautiful holiday!

This Folder is Empty

When was the last time your email inbox  read "This Folder Is Empty"? With email often being a primary way of communicating in both business and personal life it's as important to have an orderly inbox as it is an orderly desk.  Here are a few simple tips for keeping the emails organized.

  • Create folders for any and all categories of emails that come in that you want to save.
  • Open these folders every six months or so to see what can be deleted. For instance, if you have a travel itinerary that you saved under "travel" and the trip is done then delete.
  •  At least once a day delete any junk mail out and spam items that don't belong.
  • Opt out of emails that you are not interested in.
  • Keep items in the inbox that you intend to read or respond too soon. Set the time aside to read through these and file, print, or delete as needed. Avoid letting them pile up for more than a week.
  • Typical folder categories may include travel, networking, and purchases. Depending on the type of business you are in you may want to have folders for specific clients or accounts. Get very specific in order to make filing easy and finding emails a breeze.
  • Temporary folders could also be created for topics like family vacation 2013, birthday party, kitchen remodel.

Healthy Home Tip

Previously I mentioned the fabulous solution to mineral deposits in fiberglass tubs. Turns out a pumice stone also works great for cleaning rings out of sinks and toilets.

If you ever felt the frustration of trying to clean those annoying rings from an older toilet then give this a try.
