Vita Farms Sees Strong Demand for Ajugas

Vita Farms, a ForemostCo® company, has recently seen a strong increase in demand for Ajugas.  Ajuga groundcovers, commonly called bugleweed or carpetweed, are stellar performers in the shade garden. When in full flower, large clumps of Ajugas can produce a striking display which explains their popularity. Limited supply available.

Growing Tips: Curcuma
Grow in shade/partial shade. Despite having tropical origins, most curcuma varieties dislike spending the entire day in unfiltered sunlight. Curcuma requires fertile beds in addition to well-draining soil. Problematic clay soils can be overcome by adding organic matter before planting for optimal plant performance. Water regularly in dry climates, Curcuma thrives with approximately an inch of moisture each week while actively growing. Prune in autumn for an aesthetically pleasing and tidy look.
