Medical Technology News To Advance Your Practice
A Note from Mark Spates (Quatris CEO)
In recent months you may have heard about the ransomware attacks infecting many computer systems across the globe. At Quatris Health, we take these malware attacks very seriously. That's why we spend a good portion of our days, and nights, implementing state of the art security measures to prevent attacks and safeguard your data 24/7.

You may have also heard "noise" in the marketplace questioning the future of GE Healthcare and Centricity. We want to assure you that GE is committed to GE Healthcare as a strategic business and the GE Centricity product lines, which include Centricity EMR and Centricity Practice Solution. To learn more about GE's efforts to support your transition to Value-Based Care, we invite you to read our December 14th communication entitled  GE Healthcare is here for you.

At Quatris Health, we believe nothing is more important than the safety of our customer's data and the peace of mind knowing that Quatris will always be there to provide the latest software, training and support needed to keep your practice successful, now and for years to come.

So, on behalf of the entire Quatris family we thank you for being our customer and look forward to a thriving future together.

Quatris Acquires Strategic Business Systems
As you may recall Quatris acquired HealthSystems in March 2017. We are pleased to announce that the Quatris family has grown once again. In November, Quatris acquired the Centricity Support portion of Strategic Business Systems (SBS), another GE Centricity value-added reseller based in Memphis, Tennessee. After years of providing Centricity support and services to their area, SBS realized their customers would be better served by working with a larger organization that can keep pace with the industry.

We hope the initial introduction and support received by legacy SBS customers has exceeded your expectations. We want all customers (whether new to Quatris or not) to know that our "door is always open" for communications, questions, problem-solving and hopefully relaying many kudos to our team members.
Quatris continues to be the largest independent GE reseller nationwide. We collectively provide Centricity implementation, training and support services to 1000 medical practices in 43 states, representing more than 6300 providers.

Quatris also hosts over 540 practices on our Cloud platform and are realizing an increase in this service month after month.

Shaping Your MIPS/Quality Reporting
Since its launch last August, our MIPS/Quality Consulting program has helped nearly fifty customers with their reporting needs, allowing them to avoid penalties and maximize their government incentives. Rest assured we will continue to offer MIPS/Quality reporting support and consulting services in 2018 to help even more of our customers be successful.

Quatris takes a strategic, proactive approach with our customers to provide peace-of-mind in reaching their quality reporting goals. We want to ensure that our practices obtain their quality incentives and bonuses. Even our reporting-savvy customers are seeing benefits by utilizing MIPS Consulting for submission support, and having an experienced friend by their side in the event of an audit.

Our lead clinical consultant, Krista Bowles, said customers are seeing huge value as they meet to review the reporting tools. One customer stated, "The support is incredible - we are now on target with all our providers." Another customer stated, "It was a mess, now we meet every week and things have really settled down - our physicians are happy."

For information on how you can achieve these benefits for your practice contact Mike Keller RN, MS at mkeller@quatris.com or 817-916-0222.

Question: Does the default Centricity SQL database backup do more than just backup the database?

Answer: Yes. There are also other routine maintenance items like a corruption check built in. Make sure that you pay attention to any backup warnings that appear, and that you always have a good onsite and offsite backup.
Question: How do I add a new provider to CQR so I can view their dashboard?

Answer: It is not necessary to manually add a provi der to CQR. Once a user is linked to a chart document, that user will flow to CQR via nightly ingestions and be available in CQR. You will have to configure Measurement Settings in CQR for what data you want to see on the dashboard for that provider, but it is not necessary to manually add that provider. For more information, view the New EMR Provider CQR Job Aid on Podio here: https://podio.com/quatris.com/product-readiness/apps/cqr/items/96.
Question: Can patients see their growth charts in the ezAccess Patient Portal?

Answer: Yes. You can turn on automatic sharing of growth charts by going to Options>Flowsheet & Graph View Settings. You can choose which flowsheet views you would like to show as graphs on the patient's portal view.
