100 Reasons Why
In case you missed it, last week we celebrated the #KISD100thday by having our students and staff share with you on social media the 100 reasons why it is better at the Ridge. We have posted them to our website for you to enjoy.

Ridge Has Got Talent
"Ridge Has Got Talent" auditions will be held after school from 4-6:30 PM on Wednesday, February 21. Students interested in performing must register online by scanning the QR code posted around the school, or they can stop by room 319 and register with Mr. Behringer.
2018-19 Course Registration
Counselors are currently in the process of entering in students' courses for the 2018-19 school year. All students can go to the Home Access Center to make changes to course requests until February 9th. Starting February 10th, students will need to make an appointment with their counselor to make any schedule changes.

AP Test Registration Open
Registration for AP testing has opened. The cost will then be $94 until registration ends on March 23rd at 4 PM. 

If you qualify for free and reduced lunch, the cost is $30. You can also apply for a fee waiver if necessary. You can access the link for registration from the FRHS website. You may also pay online through the FRHS webstore or pay Mrs. Richenberger in the front office. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Arsenault or Mrs. Foster.  

International Fest
The annual International Fest will be held February 15th in the commons right after school. Come celebrate love and friendship with food, music and activities from around the world.

Ridge Wrestling
This past weekend the wrestling team competed at the Keller Invitational. On the JV team, freshman Trendon Edwards finished 3rd. On girls varsity, junior Hannah Montes finished 3rd and, freshman Cierra Riojas finished in 1st place. The district wrestling tournament will take place at home on Saturday. We invite everyone to come out and support the Ridge Wrestling team.

Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team defeated Keller 2-1 on Wednesday night in a shootout. The lone Fossil Ridge goal during regulation was scored by Andrew Davila, who was assisted by Erik Rodriguez. Goalkeeper Diego Berlingeri had another huge performance during the shootout, stopping Keller's first 2 attempts. Fossil Ridge shootout goals were scored by Adrian Vasquez, Alexis Madrid, Lalo Mercado and Mason Wallak. This is the Panthers second consecutive shootout win. The Panthers return to action next Tuesday evening at Timber Creek High School.

Graduation Day is Saturday,
May 26, 2018 at 8 PM at the University of Texas - Arlington at College Park Center

Each student will receive only 9 tickets . Every person attending the graduation, even small children, must have a ticket. Seniors will receive the actual tickets the day before graduation at their graduation practice. 
The Student Council will place a rose tied with black and gold ribbon with a personal note from you on the chair of the graduate you wish to recognize at graduation. This is a wonderful way to honor your graduate and help support the student council.

Prom is May 12th, 2018 at the AT&T Stadium. Tickets go on sale April 1st for $115.

Project Graduation is an event exclusively for Seniors, providing the new graduates with a safe, sober and fun night. This event is held AT FOSSIL RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL immediately following the Graduation Ceremony and continues through the night until early the next morning. This event is filled with planned activities, food, entertainment, music, door prizes and much more.
