Zachary, aka "Lucky," was born with
congenital kyphoscoliosis, a severe deformity of the spine. He has had four surgeries and spent eight weeks in halo traction.
Today he is a happy, charismatic and curious child who loves riding his bike, kayaking, playing tennis and hiking with his parents. Lucky is a fighter. Fight along with him.

Ventilator-Dependent Children Enjoy Week of Camp Thank to Donations
Dozens of children who are ventilator-dependent enjoyed a stress-free day on Miami Beach last month as part of the Dr. Moises Simpser Ventilation Assisted Children's Center (VACC) Camp. The week-long camp has hosted over 250 families in its 31 years, and the experience is provided at no cost to the families and is supported by generous donations.

This March, hundreds of philanthropists gathered for the Harmony for Heather on Earth Foundation's first-ever Miami-based event, raising funds for the Music Therapy program at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Harmony for Heather on Earth is one of several organizations that help fund this important program.
One day, a few neighborhood children decided to start a lemonade stand to help cure sick children at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. They got together, and by the end of the day, their lemonade stand had raised $23.50 for our patients!
