City Selected to Participate in National Initiative
The National League of Cities (NLC), in partnership with Food Research and Action Center (FRAC), has selected Prattville as one of 31 cities that will receive technical assistance and grant funding as part of an initiative in Alabama, California, and Kansas to reduce childhood hunger by expanding participation in the federally-funded Afterschool and Summer Meal Programs.

City to Honor Firefighters at Independence Day Celebration
The City of Prattville is pleased to announce that this year's 4th of July Parade theme is "Salute to Public Safety Personnel". In appreciation for their service, the Prattville Independence Day Celebration Committee is honoring all current and retired City of Prattville and Autauga County Firefighters as Grand Marshals at the Independence Day Parade and Fireworks Event, on Tuesday, July 4th. All Firefighters wishing to take part in the Prattville Independence Day events need to make reservations by June 20, 2017. Please contact the City of Prattville Special Events Office at (334) 595-0851 to RSVP.

Creekwalk Concert Series Kicks Off June 13!
The City of Prattville is excited to announce the 4th Annual Creekwalk Concert Series beginning on Tuesday, June 13, at 7:00 p.m.

This month, the sales tax increase generated an additional $560,444.84. In that same time period, the City of Prattville has paid $34,754,570.64 toward our debt service.

Public Works Building...A Work in Progress

This is the first of several articles regarding the changes at the Public Works Yard on Doster Road, as well as the construction of a new facility for that department. This is a "pay-as-you-go" project, meaning that it will be budgeted and funded without loans.
