Fourth of July at Ferry Farm

Celebrate Independence Day at the place where George Washington spent his boyhood years.  Learn about archaeology at Ferry Farm, enjoy a patriotic flag retirement ceremony, interact with colonial and Civil War re-enactors as well as members of the Patawomeck tribe, listen to patriotic music, and participate in educational programs, crafts and games, and hands-on activities for the whole family.  Press Release

July Fourth Heritage Festival
Pratt Park; Gates Open at 4:30 pm

Join us at John Lee Pratt Memorial Park on July 4th for Rock'n Live Music on Celebration Stage, food vendors, kids' activities and fireworks! Parking is limited - come early! Admission is free. No alcohol. Dogs must be leashed. No tents in the concert area.

Come join us every third Sunday, June - September as live bands perform from 5- 7pm on Pratt Park's Celebration Stage.  Pack a picnic dinner and bring the entire family for an evening filled with music and fun! Admission is $10 per car.  Concessions will be available. Rain or shine.

Stafford County is proud to announce that Regal Entertainment Group will open a 50,539 square foot luxury twelve screen movie theater in The Garrison at Stafford, formerly known as Stafford Village. The new 500,000 square foot mixed-use community, located off Garrisonville Road, is under development by The Pence Group.

CANNON RIDGE GOLF CLUB CELEBRATES GRAND RE-OPENING   
 
The course, located off U.S. 17 in Celebrate Virginia North, is semi-private:  memberships are offered, but it is also open to the public.  Along with the golf course opening, the club's restaurant, The Battlefield Grill, is open to the public.  The course is unique to the area due to its open layout and long greens.
