New Addition for Meeting Room Framed
Framing of the new addition to the Moffat Library is almost complete.  This area will house a community room with seating for up to sixty people, as well as a conference room for use for tutoring or a temporary office.

The old addition on the east side of the building was also demolished and new framing is being erected to house the new children's wing.

Spirits of the Past
Lantern Tour

Last Friday's Spirits of the Past presentation at the First Presbyterian Church of Washingtonville was a huge success with almost 70 participants.

The presentation focused on the real people who are interred in the church graveyard, with photographs, artifacts and original research on their lives.

In this picture, Elsa Gerow is holding pictures of her great-grandfather, John Y. Gerow and great-aunt, Anna Gerow, who was featured in this presentation.  The present day Gerow had never met or seen pictures of her relatives until last Friday, and she was delighted!
