Must-Attend  Events in June
The month begins with a car show in downtown Fredericksburg that is sure to get the gearheads in your life revved up. Our second weekend is clearly for those who enjoy music and fantastic acts. Enjoy a Frankie Valli tribute show in Fredericksburg and then pull on your boots and head out to Luckenbach for the Thomas Michael Riley Music Festival for an evening of country music and dancing. Enjoy discovering unique finds? Make plans for the third weekend of June to attend Trade Days, an event that features over 400 vendors each selling wares you can't find anywhere else. Close out the month by once again returning to Luckenbach for delicious eats and great live music at the Hill Country Food Truck Festival. We couldn't think of a better way to welcome Summer!

Fredericksburg, TX

Every evening at dusk from May through October, up to 3 million Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from an abandoned railroad tunnel!  Thursday through Sunday, be one of the first 70 visitors and get to watch from the lower viewing area for $5 per person. Upper viewing area is limited to 250 visitors and is free. Please call for current emergence time and additional visitor information.

Admission- Free (Entire park excluding lower viewing area) and $5 (Lower viewing area)

13th annual open car show benefiting various charitable organizations and public education programs. Enjoy live music, food, and some great looking rides. Covered spaces available for early entries.

Luckenbach, TX

Music festival showcasing numerous Texas Country artists and hosted by Thomas Michael Riley.  Performing on Friday will be Max Stalling, Adrian Johnston, Brandon Rhyder, Tommy Alverson, Robby white, Tom McElvain and TMR himself. Scheduled to play on Saturday are Jamie Richards, Jolie Holliday, Michael Cross, Davin James, Sonny Burgess, Nathan Colt Young, Joe Forlini, Brett Watts, Dave Thomas and TMR. Playing on Sunday are the 35 South Band and Thomas Michael Riley in a tribute to Waylon Jennings.  

Admission- $20 (Day pass), $40 (Weekend pass)

FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS! OH WHAT A NIGHT is a loving concert and tribute staying true to the original recordings of the real group. This exhilarating musical revue has been thrilling audiences with great choreography, boundless  energy and humor.

Stonewall, TX

56th celebration of the annual peach crop including peach judging, crowning of the Peach Queen, parade, peach eating, pit spitting, food, music and rodeo. Gates open each evening at 6 pm. Mutton busting at 6:45 pm. Rodeo at 8 pm Friday followed by a concert and dance featuring Two Tons of Steel. Parade at 10 am on Saturday; rodeo at 8 pm Saturday followed by a concert and dance featuring Mark Chestnutt. Daytime activities on Saturday are free. 

Admission (Friday)- $15 (Adults and children 13+), Free (Children 12 and under)
Admission (Saturday)- $20 (Adults and children 13+, $5 (Children 2-12 years old), Free (children under 2) 
Weekend Pass (Friday and Saturday)- $30

Luckenbach, TX

The Fourth Annual Hill Country Food Truck Festival featuring a dozen food trucks, ten Texas Hill Country wineries and a lineup of live Texas music, will take place from noon to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, in Luckenbach Texas. Last year almost 3,000 folks enjoyed what could be best described as an iconic summer day in the Texas Hill Country - delicious food, Texas wine, ice cold beer and great Americana music! All in a legendary place - Luckenbach Texas!
