If you think Halloween is scary, wait until you attend our session on
EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES LIABILITY

Who should attend?  Owners and Managers

Think you're immune to employment-related lawsuits?  Think again.  Employment law has changed significantly in recent years and employee lawsuits are on the rise.  Since employment law is reportedly one of the fastest-growing areas of litigation across the country, employment lawyers and judges expect the rise in employment lawsuits to continue for at least another decade.

Charges include:

  • Age Discrimination
  • Pregnancy Discrimination
  • Racial Discrimination
  • Religious Discrimination
  • Disability Discrimination
  • Sex Discrimination/Sexual Harassment
  • Retaliation
  • Wage and Hour Lawsuits
In this valuable session, Brenda Steers, Bob Thompson and Rich Steer will discuss how to insulate your company from these types of claims in the first place as well as what steps you should take should you get either a charge from the Division of Human Rights or the EEOC or a lawsuit alleging discrimination.
