| CARING FOR YOUR NEWBORN |
This 3 hour class is held once a month on a Saturday afternoon from 2-5 pm. Class size is limited to 6 couples. This small group size allows you to get your specific questions answered and the teacher to personalize the class to the couples' needs.
This class covers the following topics:
- Typical newborn eating and sleeping patterns
- Handling a newborn in the first few days/weeks
- Feeding & burping
- Diapering, bathing, & changing clothes
- Swaddling & soothing a crying baby
- Cord care & nail care
- Illness - what to look for
- Care of the new mother
- Layette - what to buy

Our Breastfeeding Support Group is led by a lactation consultant, and is a wonderful way to get your questions answered about latching on, milk supply, pumping, going back to work, weaning, etc.
