We've got two new products from our third-party partners that are now in our online store!

The folks at DIY RPG Productions have released The Ghoul Prince, a new second-level Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure specifically written to be able to easily slot into any campaign world with a minimum of effort with its “Adventure Convertotron” system. This adventure contains unique monsters, artifacts, treasures and the new patron “The Bone Lady”.
And the folks over at Shinobi 27 Games have invaded the Nakato Building to bring you Fae Hard . This 0-level adventure for DCC might seem familiar around the edges, but it is definitely a little more than a common thief adventure.

Written by Stephen Newton, with additional writing by Daniel J. Bishop and a cover by FRK Pyron, Children of the Fallen Sun is a 60-page product which includes a complete adventure, new mutations, artifacts, and two full AI Patron write ups.

GRIMTOOTH'S TRAPSYLVANIA
Our new Kickstarter for the Grimtooth campaign setting!

As announced last year , Goodman Games is publishing  Grimtooth’s Trapsylvania ! This is a campaign sourcebook designed to give a home to all of those lovely traps, and a history to Grimtooth (and his lovely sister, Grimtina), so that you have the appropriate context needed to  kill all the characters  run your happy fun-time campaign!

Grimtooth’s Trapsylvania is a 144-page campaign setting and sourcebook! It will be available in print (softcover or hardcover) and electronic (PDF) format. It is fully illustrated, with color cover and B/W interior art. Goodman Games is publishing it under license from Flying Buffalo. But what about role-playing games? How did he affect those? We’ll discuss that in a moment, but first, some background...
ADVENTURES IN FICTION: LORD DUNSANY
One of the era's most influential authors.

Some Appendix N authors directly influenced the creation of fantasy role-playing. We see concrete inspiration in the trolls borrowed from Poul Anderson or the “Vancian” magic system of  D&D . Other Appendix N writers exerted a less obvious influence, providing more a sense of tone and wonder than any specific element. It can be argued, however, that one Appendix N author wielded the greatest influence on fantasy role-playing not because his works were borrowed wholesale or served to color Gygax and Arneson’s campaigns, but because he inspired numerous other Appendix N writers, impelling them to create the stories from which RPGs derive their origins...
ADVENTURES IN FICTION: LIN CARTER
An oft-overlooked master storyteller.

Linwood Vrooman Carter was born on June 9th, 1930 in St. Petersburg, Florida. In the august company of his fellow Appendix N authors, Lin Carter is a figure both of high esteem and some controversy. As an editor and critic, he is indispensable, most notably for his role in editing the landmark  Ballantine Adult Fantasy  series (BAFS), which ran from 1969-1974 and re-introduced such luminaries as Lord Dunsany, William Hope Hodgson, and Clark Ashton Smith to the fantasy-reading public. As the series gained traction, Carter also championed newer writers such as Joy Chant and Katherine Kurtz, whose long-running  Deryni  series was first published under the BAFS imprint...
