FEATURED ARTICLE
On Set with the AR Climate Is Changing documentary film crew.
This film project is a grant funded effort by the World Wildlife Fund implemented by the Earth Cause Organization. We continue to have travelled all across the state from Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Clinton and down to Hot Springs and Helena, just to name a few towns in Arkansas, and the effort continues. We are collecting stories and opinions on a changing environment here in the Natural State. Come find us shooting at the Energy for the Environment Rally, this next Saturday from 12- 2 PM in the Riverfront park. Hear your voice heard and tell your story!

The Property Assessed Clean Energy [PACE] Program can save Arkansans $$$
The PACE Assessment Protection Act,
or S. 3642/ H.R. 5766 is a local solution that helps home and business owners finance energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. By providing owners with long-term financing options that are repaid through an assessment on property taxes, PACE provides financial security for home and business owners, creates jobs in the home improvement industry, and boosts manufacturing of clean and efficient technologies and products.
But now, financing for PACE is at risk due to recent statements issued by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA).
Before the FHFA action, PACE initiatives were sprouting up in cities across America, helping them create jobs, save people money and save energy. Now, cities in 22 states have suspended or dissolved their programs while the launch of new programs across the country are killed.
Congress cannot allow the FHFA to stand in the way of clean energy jobs and lower utility bills for millions of Americans. Urge Congress to pass the PACE Assessment Protection Act today!
For Arkansas that means local jobs, cutting energy costs and reducing mortgage defaults!
Join business owners from around the country and ask Congress to swiftly pass the PACE Assessment Protection Act!
