Tax Season is Here; Free Help is Available!

April 15 is just a month away. Doing taxes is rarely anyone's favorite thing, but we can offer some help! AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation sessions for all Central Oregonians at the Downtown Bend Library. Stop in to learn more about tax credits and have an IRS-Certified Volunteer prepare your taxes. Taxes are prepared online, using IRS certified software and then electronically transmitted to the IRS. Certified tax volunteers will also be available to answer some of your tax questions. Walk-in sessions at the Downtown Bend Library are on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m. and run through April 9th. Find more info here.

Calling All Artists! Show Us How "A Novel Idea" Has Inspired Your Art

Calling all artists! The Downtown Bend Library is seeking artists to create and submit original art inspired by our Novel Idea selection "Homegoing" by Yaa Gyasi.
