Goodman Games has always been proud of our connection to  Appendix N , the fabled section of  Dungeons and Dragons  that explained the influences on the game.  Dungeon Crawl Classics  was founded upon those books, and what they represent in the fantasy genre. And to that end, we do our best to help bring those works to new fans, both through our own product and through the classic originals and reprints that showcase their works.

Nothing, however, replaces the original works. That’s why we are proud to have five new pulp volumes in the  Appendix N section of our online store . Since we first posted this notice on our web site, we have completely sold out of the color cover copies. The leather bounds were already gone. A lot of people have been waiting patiently for the release of Mutant Crawl Classics—and we are happy to share all the latest news.

In our new report, we go over release dates, both domestic and abroad, and get a chance to show off the first three copies that have made their way to our own offices. Check out all the details!

In January, Michael Curtis traveled to Houston to research  The Fritz Leiber Papers  at the University of Houston. This amazing trip was funded by our  Kickstarter for the DCC Lankhmar  project.  The Fritz Leiber Papers  is comprised of correspondence, writings, original manuscripts, photographs, and even the author’s sword collection, all of which were donated to The University of Houston Libraries by Fritz and Justin Leiber during a period between 1984 to 1997, and spans 30 linear feet of shelf space.

The collection documents Leiber’s life and works from the years 1930 to 1996. As far as we are aware, Goodman Games is the only Lankhmar publisher to incorporate this material into their works. Click below to read Michael’s first report back from the library.

We were proud to be on hand at  Drinking and Dragons 8  in new London Connecticut, and needless to say a fantastic time was had by all.

The event raised money for the  Veterans Equine Therapeutic Services , a service pairing veterans with therapy animals. The folks on hand got to experience Judge Brendan LaSalle, who took them through a 10th-level adventure. Yes, 10th-level! Judge Brendan took it to the max!

The 2018 Road Crew is well underway, and we hope you’re going out and scheduling your games. You’ve got swag to earn!
