Alive After Five Wine Tasting at Wooden Wheel Vineyards Tonight
Come join us for a beautiful evening, a glass of fine wine, and the opportunity to network with local businesses in the historic Wooden Wheel Vineyards. The Washington Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Alive After Five tonight from 5-7pm at the local vineyard.
The owners, Mike and Connie Vincent, serve native Iowa wines and make wine tasting enjoyable for those who consider themselves experts as well as wine novices. Their wine experts will be available to educate you about wine and demonstrate wine tasting techniques.
Wooden Wheel Vineyards is located on the family farm first settled by Mike's Great - Great Grandmother, Isabella Clark Wright. Rich with stories of the pioneer life, many of the wines are dedicated to the spirit and adventures of the family's ancestors.
Wooden Wheel Vineyards is located off Highway 92 between Sigourney and Washington. The comfortable and charming space is the perfect place to relax with others or to just escape with a glass of fine wine. Enjoy the sunny evening and explore the event center, which is ideal for gatherings such as weddings, receptions or any social event.
Come sample wines, imported cheeses, baked goods, and find out what a 'winerita' is! Enter your name in the drawing for a chance to win $20 of Chamber Bucks or a bottle of their local wine.
