Junior Naturalist Series- Green Cay Nature Center
This series is designed for youth who are interested in nature and outdoor activities. For ages 9-14, $10/session, $50/all six. RSVP required. Series run Jan 4-6. Times vary for each program.

Knock and Roll Wheelchair Rugby Tournament- CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex
From Fri, Jan 13-Sun, Jan 15 , watch as Wheelchair Rugby players from South Florida, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Grand Rapids, Philadelphia, and Maryland compete at the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex, Lake Worth. Wheelchair Rugby, also known as Quad Rugby, is a team sport for athletes with a disability.  FREE  for spectators.
Sensational Snakes- Daggerwing Nature Center
Learn all about snakes from a naturalist including how to identify the most common snake found in southern Florida Sat, Jan 14, 10:30 a.m. at Daggerwing Nature Center, in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton. All ages, $3/participant. RSVP required.

Battle of the Loxahatchee- Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park
Come out for a day of military history Sat, Jan 28, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park (adjacent to Riverbend Park), Jupiter. There will be re-enactors, exhibitors and speakers to give a glimpse into the battles that occured in the park in 1838. Scheduled weapons demonstrations will occur throughout the day. FREE ADMISSION
Lessons and Instruction at Palm Beach County golf courses
