The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department accepted the National Gold Medal Finalist Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management for agencies serving a population over 400,000 during the National Recreation and Park Association's Annual Conference in New Orleans on Tuesday, September 26.
