SWIFT's Free Guide for Inclusive Practices
SWIFT (Schoolwide Integrated Framework for Transformation) is a national K-8 technical assistance center that promotes the inclusive academic and social achievement of ALL students, including students with disabilities and those with the most extensive needs.

Dan Habib of the Institute on Disability at UNH has worked with SWIFT to develop ten "SWIFT in 60" films. These films are now included in the SWIFT Field Guide, a tool to support the implementation of inclusive educational practices.

A step-by-step guide to inclusive practices

The SWIFT Field Guide can be used by any school that is interested in implementing schoolwide inclusive transformation. Each film gives a quick overview of a SWIFT feature, and shows examples of what the feature looks like in schools. The films are accompanied by discussion guides with questions to engage school staff in conversations about shared values and how to apply the SWIFT features in their own school communities. The Field Guide also includes "Steps to Get You Started" and helpful resources and PowerPoints.

Everything in the SWIFT Field Guide is free. Get started today by visiting the " How to Use this Guide " page.
