Come to an open house for updates on Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project
The public is invited to an open house on Tuesday, May 30 from 5 - 7 p.m. to get an update on the Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project. Final designs for the recreational modification and environmental mitigation projects will be presented. Engineering and design consultants will be in attendance to provide information and answer questions about the projects.

The Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project is the result of a growing demand for water in Colorado's Front Range communities. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers determined Chatfield Reservoir can accommodate an additional 20,600 acre feet of water storage for water supply without compromising its flood control function. This additional storage space will be used by municipal and agricultural water providers to help meet the diverse needs of the state.

To learn more about the project, visit chatfieldreallocation.org or send an email to info@chatfieldreallocation.org.
