Local Gardeners' Own Recipes!

The Hays County Master Gardeners announce the release of their own recipe book, Seeds to Table,  this week at the Farmers Market. Readers will find the favorite recipes from local gardeners and cooks covering soup to nuts (with lots of vegetable dishes in between). Come get your own copy today!

Also available are (free) native milkweed seeds (think Monarch butterflies),courtesy of  New Life Lutheran Church. Last week to get these!
Empty Bowls Project Soups

Several Farmers Market vendors are preparing soups for the Empty Bowls Project in Dripping Springs, November 6 from 11am - 3pm at Mercer Street Dancehall. Come enjoy gourmet soups made with the best locally grown meats and produce, accompanied by desserts, a full bar and live music. All proceeds go to the local Helping Hands Food Pantry. It's a win/win for everyone!
