0 Presbyterians from all over the country, especially from the Synod of Lakes and Prairies, g ather together to learn, worship, and play? It look s like Synod School. For one week in July each year, Presbyterians converge on Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. They come as singles, couples, and family groups of all kinds. Holy Adventure: 41 Days of Audacious Living Bruce Epperly 
As someone who is not spiritual and is old (67), a disabled combat veteran of Vietnam, and a  Presbyterian minister, my initial foray into  Holy Adventure was less than enthralling. Reading and discussing theology, the ongoing struggles over sexuality in the Presbyterian denomination, or the weekly exercise of sermon preparation - all are stuff I like and with which I can become enthralled. For me, audacious living is fall Saturdays in Madison cheering on our beloved Badgers! GHANA CONNECTIONS
In 2016, it is again our partners' turn to visit us. Many of you have hosted the delegation at your churches either in 2010, 2012 or 2014. We hope you found it to be a rewarding experience. We are expecting our partners to visit us in the month of September (September 15 - 30), when there will be more opportunities to experience church life in our presbytery, as well as share their stories. INTERIM MINISTRY TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Interim Ministry Training Institute (IMTI) is an intensive training program that is offered inter-denominationally at a location in WI. The rigorous program spans an eight-month period with monthly full-day sessions, reading and practicum assignments, and personal coaching. It will run October, 2016 through May, 2017 and is led by Linda Kuhn and Dave King of Sand Bur Consulting, who have extensive experience working with congregations in interim and transitional situations. PIANO ACCOMPANIST
West Granville Presbyterian Church (Milwaukee, WI) is seeking a piano accompanist for the adult choir rehearsals and church services.  The choir rehearses for approximately 1 hour on Sunday mornings prior to church service and performs approximately 2x per month.  Accompanist will also occasionally accompany persons providing special music during worship.  Independent practice is required to assure knowledge and familiarity of music selected.  Strong sight-reading skills and ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals is a plus.  Salary is $25.oo per rehearsal and $25.00 per performance. West Granville Presbyterian Church (Milwaukee, WI) is seeking a caring, compassionate and energetic individual to care for children in the nursery during church service and Sunday school when applicable September-May. Children will range in age from 0-5 years, and the number of children will vary each Sunday. Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
