Please keep Scott Hauser and his family in your prayers. Scott underwent thoracic surgery on September 9th at St. Mary's Ozaukee. He's back home, and is on a lighter schedule at Crossroads. As he continues to recuperate, your thoughts and prayers for him, as well as for Lara and the children, would be greatly appreciated.

EMPTY BOWLS
Empty Bowls is a city-wide food justice event at which Tippecanoe Presbyterian Church's garden ministry will be highlighted for a grant.  Tippe volunteers  have raised more than 4000 pounds of organic vegetables all given away through a nutrition education program at Bay View Community Center's pantry. The garden offers work force development for two Divine Intervention guests moving out of homelessness as well. More info here.

DR. CALVIN B. DeWITT LECTURE
The 2016 Robert D. Mutton lecturer will be Dr. Calvin B. DeWitt, UW-Madison biologist, and president of the Academy of Evangelical Scientists and Ethicists.  He will make two presentations at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison, 326 S. Segoe Rd:
Friday, Nov. 11, 7-9 p.m., "Seek to Know God's Works: Discovering God's Care for the World as Our Joyful Task," and

NURSERY CARE COORDINATOR
Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church (Janesville, WI) is seeking an individual to serve as Nursery Coordinator to provide supervision of children in the nursery during Sunday School and church services for three hours per week during the period Labor Day to Memorial Day. Two hours per week during the summer months. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in Education, Early Childhood or equivalent experience. Hourly pay will be $17.50 per hour. PIANO ACCOMPANIST
West Granville Presbyterian Church (Milwaukee, WI) is seeking a piano accompanist for the adult choir rehearsals and church services.  The choir rehearses for approximately 1 hour on Sunday mornings prior to church service and performs approximately 2x per month.  Accompanist will also occasionally accompany persons providing special music during worship.  Independent practice is required to assure knowledge and familiarity of music selected.  Strong sight-reading skills and ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals is a plus.  Salary is $25.oo per rehearsal and $25.00 per performance.
