RANCHO CORDOVA STREAMLINES PERMIT SIMPLICITY

Rancho Cordova is one of the first agencies in California to begin work on a pilot program called "Permit Simplicity." The City is partnering with Region Builders, an association whose mission is advancing regional economic growth, to develop the program. Learn why this pilot program is a fresh take on business in this video.

Rancho Cordova Permit Simplicity

The City and Region Builders are recruiting architects and engineers to become Certified Permit Simplicity Experts. Local businesses could hire these certified experts for tenant improvements for existing retail, office, and warehouse buildings. Under the program, the certified experts would submit plans to the City, and the City's Building & Safety Division would review the plans and issue a permit in an average 1-3 days. This turnaround gives businesses the chance to return to operations as quickly as possible. Learn More
